Goat on Hippo

One of my friends requested a drawing from me.  She really didn't know what what she wanted.  I started to think about animals she enjoyed, since she was an animal lover.  I know she likes both pygmy goats and hippos, so I ended up deciding to draw both of those animals.  Now if it was me, I probably would have had both animals in smoking jackets, smoking pipes together while reading the the newspaper or a good book.

A few studies of both the hippo and goat.

 Here's the first pass on the drawing.  I ended up exagerating the ears of the goat and a few features of the hippo to really sell it.
